Transportation from the Airport

Taxi

The Town and Country Hotel is about 8 miles from San Diego Internatinal Airport. Taxicab service for 1-3 people should be about $23.00. Taxis are available outside the airport or train station.

Super Shuttle – Curb to Lobby Service

$11.00 per person. About 10 minute transit time. No reservation is needed from the airport, but if you want, you can make reservations on their website, Search for “Town & Country” in the “Landmarks and hotels”.

The shuttle bus stop is in the center island across from baggage claim, and is labeled “Ground Transportation Plaza” on the Airport Terminal Map.

Public Transportation – $5/person

Via Bus and/or Light Rail (San Diego Trolley) About 40 min transit time.

Buy a $5 “day pass” from the first driver, there are no transfers on San Diego transit.

The City Airport Shuttle (Bus 992) downtown to connect to either the bus or the trolley to the Fashion Valley Transit Center. Use the trip planner to pick your route.

The Fashion Valley Transit Center station is adjacent to the Ballroom via a footbridge over the San Diego River; however, the hotel covers more than 40 acres, and it is quite a way from the Ballroom to the Lobby, see the hotel map (pdf).

Hotel Parking

There is a special SwingDiego parking rate at the Town and Country.
Overnight parking in the Fashion Valley Mall or the Transit Center parking lots is not recommended
